Frequently Asked Questions
How long should the pieces be that I slide onto my mainline?
We actually like to use (2) smaller 1/4" sections of orange, just in case one breaks you have another on your line. We like to use up to 1" of clear on the bottom stem, depending on how long the bottom stem is on the float.
How do I use bead pegs for pegging beads on my leader?
After sliding on the bead onto your leader, and tie-ing on your swivel and hook, insert the silicon tubing into the hole in the bead from the BOTTOM and pull the peg through the top of the bead. Pull it snug and use your teeth to bite off the top and bottom tag ends of the peg. The bottom tag end can be used to peg another bead on a different setup, as their should be enough of the material to do so.
What if my bead keeps sliding down after I peg it?
After catching a few fish, or snagging, you may find the bead peg may slide or not hold your bead in place while casting or drifting. Just remove the piece inside the bead using your teeth, and re-peg with a fresh peg, repeating the process above.
